Jammu Cable Car Corporation organized three days “Jammu Gondola Festival” to publicize/showcase the Bagh-e-Bahu Gondola facility connecting Bagh-e-Bahu with Mahamaya and Peer Kho wherein the first phase connecting Mahamaya has been made functional and the second phase from Mahamaya to Peer Kho is in its final stage. The much-awaited facility in Jammu has given a boost to pilgrim tourism in the City of Temples.

Vaishno Devi, located in the Trikuta Mountains in Jammu, is one of the most visited Hindu pilgrimage destinations in India. There are two ways to reach Vaishno Devi: hiking and ropeway. While hiking takes you about 3 hours, the Vaishno Devi Ropeway takes you to Bhairo Valley (where the temple is situated) within 5 minutes.
